What? - Ferrari F40
Where? - Stelvio Pass
When? - Any clear, dry but coolish day.
Why? - Why not?
Who With? - No one - why would you want to add any extra weight? - besides, they'd only complain about the noise and the lack of air-con!
 
All of these posts and nobody had mentioned Stelvio Pass, I thought I'd be number one. You had to go messing things up...

What? - Pagani Zonda F (dark red/carbon fibre)
Where? - Take the long way from Anywhere in Europe to anywhere else in Europe, through the Alps.
When? - Mid-spring.
Why? - Winter driving, the motor loves it.
Who With? - My brother.

When?- Whatever time of summer is best in Germany. Dry but not too dry, about 70 for the air temp.
Why?- A dream come true, simple as that.
Who With?- "VBH" Vicky Butler Henderson. I would have a chick to drive with who could actually give me pointers and help me to become a better driver (probably by the end of the day). All the while, doing it in "chick voice." 👍 :sly:

If you're looking for the best time to go driving in Germany, your best chances are July/Early-August. Otherwise, August is too hot, and anytime sooner or later you run into the chance of neverending rain...

To be honest, I don't drink at all. :indiff: Once in a while, I wake up having dreamt something really nice that I really could have done without....


But rather than make this thread become depressed beyond reason:


What - 1963 Mini Cooper S.
Where - any Irish or Scottish back roads.
When - about three seconds from an hour ago.
Why - I have a long list of cars I've always wanted to own & drive, and this is at the bottom (but not the slowest).
Who With - someone rich enough to get me through the rest of the list. I've always been into Jennifer Connelly....

Hey. I don't drink either and am into Jennifer too. I guess we do have something in common after all!. :D I would've have PM'd you, but it seems that you don't have that capability? :confused:

When - When it's happening.
Why - It looks like a really fun, grassroots-ish event for real enthusiasts.
Who With - A good wrench-monkey and copilot to guide me.

Where: Local Dragstrip
When: Whenever there's a NOPI event.
Why: To show the ricers in their civics the meaning of true muscle.
Who With: Nobody, why ruin your fun?

this year it was way too hot in june and july and august had neverending rain...

i'd suggest may or september for nice temps and there is usually less rain.

Where: coast to coast, Maine to Cali then up to Washington and back home.
When: the fall so that the leaves are turning in the northern states
Why: those cars were made to be driven and no one does any more.
Who: My ex girlfriend, not because I want to get back with her or anything like that but because she is the only person I know that would appreciate that car as much as me.
 
What? 2006 Ferrari P 4/5!

Where? Germany, preferably the countryside!

When? In the Spring time!

Why? Because I would like to go to Germany and because driving a Ferrari would be a dream come true, especially if it was to be in this awesome looking stallion!

Who With? Wentworth Miller for sure!

I wish I could see that. The only one I have ever seen was trailered in to a show and trailered out. I thought it was a shame. That car should be driven. Seeing it on a track would be a true thing of beauty.

They have a regular 250 GTO owners 'rally' where usually half or more (15-20+) of them are driven around France visiting historic race tracks, vin yards and Chateauxs. I know a guy who races a 105 series Alfa Gulieta in our series with a 250 SWB (not quite a GTO i know) that he uses often. Thankfully most of these owners are such enthusiasts that they will use them as they were intended to be used.
