For us Tennis fans on console, this gen, there is only one worthy game, AO International Tennis. The game has mediocre reviews but that is because at launch it lacked a lot of polish in the gameplay department but right now after numerous updates it is damn enjoyable!

Two tips to add to your sim experience is to put movement assist to zero, and no optical shot markers.

I was hooked to the game right from the menu where I was greeted by this brilliant "summery"-vibe song



Any other AO International Tennis fans out there?

I tried online too, pretty minimal lag, I was surprised. Actually better than PES and NBA 2K online that I have experience of, but still Gran Turismo Sport remains king in that aspect.

However, I keep losing because I get matched up with some super-players that also pick Nadal, Djokovic and Federer no less.. my target for now is to win a set's game at least.
