AOL = Lag in Games

Research shows that 90% of the time when there is lag in any computer game, it is due to someone running AOL in the background while playing. AOL's waol.exe program is one of the largest bandwith and memory hoggers on any computer. However, the file is necessary for connecting to AOL's network, so many dialup users are forced to play with it running.

Yeah, god damn AOL, their so lame. I have their DSL service and it still sucks ass.

I hate you AOL, with all my heart.
 
My DSL isnt with AOL. Thank god for that.
 
That's not the worst of it - AOL users forfeit their soul to Satan. Read the fine print ~
 
I have Road Runner, which is by Time Warner, which merged with AOL. Thank god I don't have to use any programs to access the interent other than IE, Netscape, MSDos Prompt, etc.
 
I had AOL for a short while years ago. It SUXORED. I love my SBC DSL, fast, and EASY.
 
I use IHUG...an Aussie and NZ provider...no AOL for me :D:D
 
i guess i should be shot then eh, my aol dsl aint THAT bad, better than 56k lol

So you're saying I should be shot because I have no say in my family's ISP? Yes, I'd rather use something like NetZero, but we pay only $3.00 a month for internet access(through a company deal with aol). Besides, I minimize aol and just use IE because its ten times better than aol's outdated POS browser.

I know.. don't take it as if I was flaming you. I wasn't. I was just pointing out that people don't always choose to do what someone else does.
 
Yah I know :) Figured as much..

Let's just change it to;
People who are sain, sober and not under the influence of drugs or medication, and who voluntarily choose to take an AOL internet acount should be shot, stabbed, hung, poisoned and shot again (in no partuculate order).

:p
