Prologue
Time: 12:42 AM, Sunday, 22nd August, 2010.
Location: South-bound on SSR7
SSR7 is normally quiet at this time of night. Tonight is no exception. There are a handful of cars on the road, including Kenji Nakamura’s Nissan GT-R. It’s grey paint sparkling in the moon-lit light. Glancing in the rear-view mirror, Kenji notices a pair of headlights rapidly closing in on him. Kenji thinks nothing of it and in a courteous gesture, moves to the left. The single pair of headlights quickly turns into 5 sets of headlights which belong to a series of black Mercedes sedans. They pass the GT-R and stop in front of it, forcing Kenji to stop. Kenji’s wife, Natsuki, panics and screams.
“What the hell!?!”
Kenji gets out in an attempt to find out why he was forced to stop, but quickly realizes what just happened. The Yakuza were here to take him out.
Kenji run’s back to his car and floors it in an attempt to escape. The Mercedes’ take pursuit. With 550 BHP at his disposal, Kenji manages to put distance between him and the Yakuza cars. The tuned GT-R soon reaches the SSR7 interchange, the GT-Rs carbon ceramic brakes slowing the car down from 300kp/h to 70. Kenji turns in and aims for the apex, but the first of the Yakuza cars rams him, causing Kenji to spin. Not even a pro driver like him can correct the spin. The car hits the safety barrier, tearing the front of the car off. Kenji attempts to get out, but the black C63 rams the driver’s side door. The rest of the convoy arrive, and a man in a black suit, smoking a cigar, gets out of the black E55 in the middle of the convoy. He is the head of the local branch of the Yakuza. He walks to the wreckage of what was once a $200,000 Nissan Supercar.
“I don’t think Kenji Nakamura will be a problem anymore… Let’s go before the cops arrive.”
The man turns around and walks towards his car. His name is Suichi Ueno. His name is feared throughout Japan. He has been known to torture anyone who betrays them. He gets into the back seat of his E55 and orders the driver to set off. Within seconds, the 5 black Mercedes cars have left the scene without a trace. 10 minutes later, an old lady in a Daihatsu Move kei car sees the wreck and calls the police.
12 km away, Takuma Nakamura is sitting on the couch in the Nakamura family home. He’s watching the news while he waits for his parents to get home.
All comments and criticism is welcomed.
