I heard that although obviously the computer disqualifies you from the challenge if it perceives you to be cutting the track, there are a couple of places where you can short-cut and it lets you get away with it, making it much easier to gold the event.
Anyone heard this and know where they are? Because I have silvers now in almost everything and need to gold events in order to gain XP!
