application process for sticky threads

Hi Keepers of GTPlanet,
Just a suggestion, it would be useful if there was a documented process for applying for stickies. At the moment it seems very inconsistent. For example I have seen threads where many people are suggesting it is made a sticky but there is no response from the mods. At other times a single post requests a sticky and it happens.

If you see a sticky-worthy thread you should take matters into your own hands and PM the staff to request it. If there was a formal process I recon there would be a lot of requests.

Yeah, there's no formal process. Just send a message to a member of staff draeing attention to any threads you think are of value. It may take a little while depending on what is happening around the forums, but if the moderators think your thread is of value, they will sticky it.
