OK I set up a Tourney for the Playstation.com Group and so far the Second part of it seems to have a Lyer. The challenge was to take a Stock Castrol Toms SUpra and Not do ANY! upgrades on it except T-8 tires. then race in Hard in arcade mode on Apricot Hill II
,so five laps and then total of the laps and your fastest lap. ANYWAYS to the point do you think it is possable to get the time of 1'10.578 or 1'11.xxx with only Adjusting the suspention and trany?

Yes.

Time Trial 6 is Apricot Hill 1 with the Castrol Supra Arcade car (stock, T5 tyres). The record for that as far as I'm aware is 1'13.

On Apricot Hill II the chicane presents much less of a problem, although the last corner is typically slower. The lap times for this track are roughly the same. Slap T8s on the car and run it in (or even use a prize car) and you're looking at 30 more hp on 3 grades grippier rubber. I'd say a 1'11 is within reach easily - especially if you can then tune the gearbox (worth at least a second on it's own), suspension, brakes, LSD, TCS, ASM and downforce (don't forget the arcade cars run lower rear downforce than you can set).

1'10.578 I'm not so sure about... But vaguely possible I reckon.

And as kideng said, that's the million-dollar question... I could turn high-1'11s easily. Some of the better racers than me - Rod, Max, Mr P, Arco, big p, Flinx, bobkart, jmr - could get that 1'10.5. But a possible time for them doesn't mean a possible time for everyone.

Buy an Xport :D

...and that's why they have Xport/Sharkport only competitions...the worst thing is that [rant]AUSTRALIA DOESN'T EVEN DAMN SELL STUPID XPORTS SO I CAN'T ENTER THESE OLR COMPETITIONS!!![/rant]
