April update problems

Hi guys,

Having trouble getting my game to do the April update. Start the game via my Xbox with a disc and all i get is the Turn 10 and Microsoft titles, then a blank screen, with the games music playing. So went to "Manage Game" and i looked for updates but nothing. So i can't play Forza 7 at all now. Wonderful.

I did do the April update, and I've got the exact same thing. I tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling...nada.

Been trying pretty much all day and still no luck. So looks like i'm going to uninstall the game, put the disc back in the packet and throw it in the draw and forget about it, as it's useless to me now.
 
Still ongoing. There’s a thread and a sticky over at the official forums, but still nothing. Is it normal for a game to offer compensation for a week long outage?
 
A new update was just released. Hopefully it fixed the problems you two have been having.
 
This happened to me with the last big update - ended up erasing the entire game. Praise be for cloud saving :scared:
