A hobby I have picked up in the past year is keeping a couple aquariums. One is a 55 gallon Tanganyikan community tank and the other is a 20 gallon South American Cichlid tank. I'm at work so I can't post pictures right now.
It's like having a little piece of some other part of the world in your living room. They're not much work, not very expensive once the initial set-up is complete, and look nice if you have the room for it.
