Arcade mode music and audience levels?

Is there any place I can turn of the horrible booing audience when I'm practicing in drift mode in arcade? I know when I screw up thank you, don't need loud booing at the corners I mess up adding insult to injury.

Also, why don't the in-game music I have selected work in arcade mode? It just plays random in-game music. I have gone though and set all the songs I want in the music list (took ages what with 187 songs), so only the songs I selected should play, yet they all play randomly. There's some seriously hideous songs that constantly comes up that makes me want to stab my ears with a rusty nail :yuck:
 
I think you're out of luck, you can't do either of those things without either completely turning down the SFX volume and completely turning down the Menu music volume.
 
I haven't found any way to turn off the crowds, they really drive me up the wall too. Especially the cheering loop at the start of rally events: "YEAH!! WHOO WHOOO!!! YAY! YEEEAAAAHHHH!!!"

I've also found that what you do with the song choices menu seems to have little/no impact on what songs you hear.. I keep hearing songs in the menus that I've turned off, I just tune them out now.
