Arcade - Single race questions

A couple of questions about the single race mode if I may

1) The AI slider, what does this represent, is it AI strength, does it change the AI cars, is there a method of setting it so you can have some good close racing and not a massivlely spread out field.

2) Tyre selection, do the AI cars drive the same tyres as you select, or do they always drive with a specific tyre.

1 - The slider represents the cars strenth and what the Ai cars will drive so it can be hard getting the difficulty right when you want as certain car set and a certain difficulty ut after a bit of getting used to it you should get an idea of what means what.

2 - As fas as I'm aware in the arcade races the Ai always race with the same tyre's, I'm not sure if the tyre's depend on which car they're using or if it is always S2's or 3's though.
