Now some of you know that GT5 is my first driving game so i would like to ask this question.
If GT5 is a simulator then why do we have an Arcade section, i find no difference in physics between arcade and the practice section in GT life, maybe its my standards not good enough but why would you go fron GT life to arcade when the practice section is quicker to get to, as i see it we have 2 similar sections in diferent parts of the game do we need this.

Discuss.

Arcade mode offers two player split screen. It also allows you to use your cars without putting miles on them.

Mileage isnt really an issue as all parts of the game dont record it properly online often misses adding miles and endurance racing misses it of randamly as well.
So why could'nt that have been incorporated all into one.

I think the main reason is both for the splitscreen and also for the different difficulty levels you can choose from.

Arcade mode seems like a half-finished feature to me... like they intended to do something with it but ran out of time. So we get this strangely limited section of the game that requires us to quit out of GT mode to use. We get a small selection of standardized "stock" vehicles... but no online leaderboards, trophy challenges or anything useful to go along with it (with the notable exception of the GT-R Nurburgring trophy.) The pro-level races are decently challenging though.
