As the title suggests, I have BT Infinity fibre optic broadband with wired connection to PS3 and have had no problems for ages until I downloaded 2.02 and bought the DLC. Got disconnected from server 3 times in half an hour tonight even though I had Nat 2 and 16mb download and 4mb upload and was hosting. Couldn't be arsed in the end and gave up.

Has anyone else had problems since 2.02 or did I just have an unlucky night?

I definitely think connection issues have got worse since the release of 2.02. I'm wired and I never used to have any problems. Now, people in rooms are constantly lagging for me and today I even came across hopping cars! The other day I got kicked out of a room for lagging badly - and before the update I never lagged. Wednesday I came across a room that said people were on the track, but when I went on the track they weren't, and someone was copying the cars I was getting into without even going in his garage.

I think it's gotten better, for me at least. I've been having major issues with disco's up until the 2.02 release. I run a thursday nite enduro, full 200 laps, and wasn't ever able to finish cuz of the disco's. On the 22nd I did finish, and had a rock solid connection entire race. My mic even worked better this time.
They removed a lot of the seasonal races so I wonder if that didn't help to unclog the servers a bit?

Never had any real issues once I started racing online. I do notice more of the failed to connect's more often than before though.

I had trouble in my lounge the day of the update and the day after. I am putting it down to all the kids being off school and GT5ing and the excitement of the update changes. I have taken the precaution of reducing my rooms to 12 drivers max until the new year.
