Are Magic's Days Numbered on GTP?!

Bad news guys! The owner of the company I work for is coming into to town. It seems he has chosen my office to sit in on for a month. This means, no more GTP for Magic during work hours for a whole month. I am not excited about this at all. :(

This also means I won't be on AIM during work hours either. So all of you that talk or look for me during the day, won't be able to find me. :(

I will miss GTP, but I asure you I will make apperences at night now for sure. I have to keep my 10th spot on the top 20 list. :D

Just wanted to give everyone the heads up if you start to wonder were Magic is. :cool:

It starts this coming Monday!
 
Magic man that has to suck. :( Well now it does not look like you will be stealing my #9 position on the top 20 posters list. :) A whole month can do a lot to at GTP. Well good luck on keeping #10 position. :) Sorry about the big boss man and all. :(
 
Yeah Magic sorry to hear about the boss man coming to work. A whole month without GTP thats gotta be devastating, you'll miss me getting 1000 posts. ;) :lol:

You're gonna be going through some major withdrawals during the day! Poor guy :( It'll be ok, though.. the month will fly by, I'm sure :)
 
Hey Magic, sorry to hear that :( You might want to try this tack though...

Casually mention one morning that they are bringing back the Ford GT40 (or any automotive related material.) If he expresses an interest, wonder out loud... "I wonder if there are places on the internet where one might find such information... you know, kind of like a Forum, but on the internet. Let me do a search for such a thing... if it even exists" (insert a small laugh right here) Then when you come up with GTPlanet, say: "Hmmmm.... this looks like an intersting site to visit for a minute before getting on to my work day..." and the rest is Academic. ;)

I am very sorry to hear that Magic069 . . . . If this helps, think of it this way.... For 30 days, you can crank out enough work to set you up pretty nice for the rest of the year, which at that point, you can solely dedicate with a completely clear conscience!

both great thoughts!!! Pako, trust me the work as already started... I think I have done more in one half day then i have done in like 2 weeks!! I am goning nuts here. Had to come on and take a break!! While I am still aloud. ;)
 
Hey Magic, do you smoke?

In our country, smokers are LEGALLY ALLOWED to take breaks every hour, or something like that, for a cigarette.

So if you don't smoke, you can tell your boss that GTP time is the equivalent to you of smoking. You can always threaten to start smoking, or leave the office when someone else does for a cigarette.

Your manager will let it slide, because it's more hassle than it's worth.

Of course, if you do smoke, this plan won't work! :D
 
Sorry to hear your leaving for a while. ** YES time for me to make my move in to 10th place** lol jk well you will still be able to get on here at home right?

I don't know man... :nervous: If he shows them his true output potential, then they'll expect it every month. Otherwise he'll have to explain why his monthly output is only 17% of this upcoming month. ;)
