Since I've 100%'ed GT3 already, I only use it for Multiplay, and for a while, I found keeping track of what car's HP was what with modded cars, I desided to just sell em all and get new cars, that are stock, and shut TCS and that ASM off on all of them.

I have to say, driving stock takes MUCH MUCH MUCH more skill then any modded car (Exept the Zonda, as it has no steering wheel)

My friend drives better with the stock cars (he sucks, he came last in a tourny that I placed 3rd in) Witch is amazing.
Some of our races really get intense.

Like Today, we raced Skyline R34 Vspec (him) and Lancer Evo 7 RS (Me) on Deep Forest, The race was extremely close till the 3rd lap, of the 3 lap race. On the first corner he acceled too much and lost the back, causing him to spin, I was Right behind him and I started laughing my ass off... I won because of it.

So In my oppinion, if you race with friends more then alone, Stock is the way to go.

Um whats your point????

I going to do this all day I think :banghead:
And im really doing it because you changed the subject!

Is stock better then modded, that was the point, and i voiced my oppinion why stock is better, if you dont understand, I dont think you should've posted.

DUDE MODDED IS B-E-T-T-E-R BECAUSE ITS HAS B-E-T-T-E-R PERFORMANCE!!!!!:banghead:

No, its less fun :)

Stock is much better... Especially when you want to prove something to others like your multiplay scenario. I had a couple of friends over who had Gt3 as well and they thought they were hot stuff. Since I haven't completed the game to 100% and they have, they of course thought of themselves as better than me. I then proceeded to whip out my GTForce sterring wheel and turned ACS and TCM off. Over then next couple of hours I ended up winning every single race against them. it was really quite funny, but let me tell you the Oreca Viper is a monster without the ACS or TCM hehe. :D

Although I prefer modded cars over stock, every now and then I like to take some drives in stock cars. ;)

stock or near stock are fun, modded cars are also fun, depending on the car...

Hmm.... I completely understand the wording behind your post, but I still am not clear on the thinking behind it. You enjoy stock cars more 'cause they are more of a handful?

If you really want to have fun then, Fully mod a car and then do everything you can to bugger up the ride on it. Crank the ride height all the way up, soften the springs down to their lowest setting (or, make one fully hard and the other fully soft) etc... etc...

Do that to a Speed 12 with Sim tires and you'd really have a riot.

<shrug> I have fun with improving my times, while improving my abilities (both in driving and tuning the cars). I like a balance between the 2...

But then again, you've got more experience with GT3. I always end up restarting after I finish Amateur - I like the short races... who has time to do 25 laps of anything?

I like stock better, because then you'll see the performance of the natural car.
But to drive with a modded car can be fun sometimes( fully modded Escudo with 1800Hp:p )

i think modded are best. I love driving with more hp. I always go to run and detting with cars to see the best lap times and it hard to do that with a stock vehicle.

Most modded cars are more lively than the stock cars so I like driving them more.
But hey, i like a balanced diet and drive both

Apclps

Well, you have to use stock cars in the Time Trials, so you must use them at some point or another...

And using stock cars for a multi race is better I think. Using the exact same car and specs makes the race prove the better driver, plain and simple. End of story!!

I do like modded cars, too though!! :burnout:

Stock cars kick ass for the fact that u are driving like they should be on real life.

It is far more realistic driving a Shelby Cobra complete with 4-speed transmission than a customizable 6...

I second that, although I have been doing 2 by 2. Getiing 2 of each car that I can and leaving one stock and the other modified. And Im neeeeeeeeeeever eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever Modifing my vanquish, it STAYS STOCK. Although I do like my 800bhp astra touring car
