Are Pre-order car tied to hard drive or PSN Name?

Ok my PS3 is broke so i am going to borrow my nephews PS3 until i can get another one.I know i will have to restart the game over when i get my new PS3 but it's better than not playing at all.The main concern i have is that if i redeem my pre-order codes from Gamestop(Gamestop Nascar&Stealth Mclaren F1)are they going to be tied to his hard drive or to my PSN ID?If i redeem them on his console am i going to be able to use them when i transfer my data from my PS3(not his PS3 two different systems) to the new PS3 i will be purchasing?Will i be able to use them or will they be only usable on his PS3?I hope i have not confused you.This is the best way i can explain it.
