Are the prices on the game based on current market prices?

Just out of curiosity, Are the prices on the game based on current market prices? If not, wouldn't that be nice? Imagine the prices of the cars changing depending on real world markets! Since GT is always online, I don't see it dificult for the game to relfect current (local) real prices.
