Are the servers down?

[DeolTheBeast]

I keep getting the "Network is offline" message when attempting to get online.

Very frustrating - tried logging in/out e.t.c.

Generally, if the servers are down, they'd let you know. Otherwise, chances are that it's a problem with you.

Just run the network connectivity test from the XMB menu. Doing this usually fixes this issue.
