I'd search but it's just timing out.

Are there any details about the GT4 servers yet? As in, are they going to be centralized (Like NFSU) or will you be able to run your own server?

Just wondering, since if there's a PC server it might be possible to have something like most modern online games where the server's site displays statistics, like kills/deaths etc. In the case of GT4 they'd display lap times, average speed and such which would be pretty cool. Also if there's a PC server you could probably setup some type of season, has there been anything confirmed about how the online play will work?

Thanks ;)

No info yet unfortunately.

I wonder if they will basically do data logger style logging to a server if you choose to, like NGStats or whatever it was in UT. That'd be pretty cool.

Just that kills and deaths won't be in GT4. I want to say that maybe Sony or PD will have their own mini-site that features world rankings and such. I am not too familiar with how the system will work, even though I've played Quake 2 and Unreal Tournament classic on my computer.

I wonder if online profiles will feature how many times a GT4 racer says that he/she owns. If GT4 had some cars with big trucks running them over in Photo Mode, you can make some GT-style OWNED!!! pictures. But with no car damage, that would be impossible... just find that Cars in General thread by "RX7Owns" called "What is this?" It features a Ford truck "owned" by a big CAT truck (my favorite one), then a Honda Civic being "owned" by a Hummer H1. So, on and off topic. There you have it, Buttseh.
