Are there hidden cars which cannot be unlocked normally?

Well, we know the story. All the GT's so far had hidden cars that couldn't be unlocked in normal ways with an over the top list in GT Concept. ( PD did't have enough time to add them in the normal game?)

Are there any traces there are such cars in GT4? Or did they finally did a good job to add all the cars they wanted to? (Except the old Mini that isn't available in the not-Japanese versions.)

It may not be 'mini' enough for you, but it's still a nice car.
So I assume you mean hidden as in 'not obtainable in any way during normal gameplay', like the Diablo GT in GT3. I don't think anyone's got into GT4 code enough to find that sort of thing yet. Just satisfy yourself with the game as it is, hybriding and hidden cars will come along in good time.

I hear that PD were expecting ferrari and porsche to fold and so placed them in there but as they didnt and so they can be obtained by the "usual method"... or so the rumour goes

Where did you hear that? I don't believe that, but it'd be cool if it were true.

That can't be true, no way......stop telling this kind of stupid roumours....come on, if Polyphony was serious enough to get the Ferrari&co licence, we would have known about it.....stop fantasizing (sp?).

The reason the Porsche 911 996 GT3 was in GT3 was because.....well....Kaz had one. The Diablo because of some license mis-understandings with Lamborghini (i think).........but all Porsches and Ferraris?? Why would they bother?

Only very few of us (gt4 players) have cheating devices so why would these cars be availible to only so few?

The Lamborghini Diablo was the JGTC car, owned by the JLOC team (Japanese Lamborghini Owner's Club)... unfortunately, Lamborghini objected to it being in the game... (why?)

I seriously doubt that there is many (if any) hidden cars, given the sheer amount of work needed to model each and every car in the game... there may be one or two 'personal' cars that the developers have snuck in, but I doubt even that...

It was a Nomad (the Diablo) which I think was the team name. It did survive intact as a prize car in the Japanese GT3.

As for Ferrari and Porsche it was interesting seeing the PD people measuring up Ferrari's and Porsche's on the "Making of" documentary that came with the PAL version of GT4 Prologue, so they did gather the data for all the cars they intended to include. Maybe Sony decided they did not have enough cash to enable the cars to appear in the game. Until someone can unlock the mysteries of the game code and car data we will never know what lies hidden on that DVD!!
