Are There More F1 cars in the USA version of GT3 (then in the European version)?

Hey wassup,

Everytime I do an Endurance Race I keep winning the same stupid Formula 1 cars: the Polyphony001 and 002.

I saw in the prize cars list that there are way much more different F1 cars to win but i can't seem to get them. Is that because there aren't any more F1 cars in the European version? BTW I have the European version

Someone please answer cuz I really want to know it.

The PAL version (Europe) has only 2 different F1 cars.
One of them is the equivalent of the F094/S. I think the other is equivalent to the F688.

The NTSC version has 6 F1 cars. Three turbo V6's (F686, 687, & 688), and three 10 cyl. NA cars (F090, and two different F094's).
The letter after the number denotes the Driver. The last two numbers of the designation denotes the year the car was run.

The F094/S is the fastest in the game. It has a maximum HP rating of 829, the same as the F094/H. When the engine is broken in, it reduces to 813HP as the maximum.
 
In the European PAL version, we have :

- Polyphony 2 = McLaren MP4/4
- Polyphony 1 = Williams FW 16a

The US NTSC version also has :
F090/S = McLaren MP4/5b
F094/H = Williams FW 16b
F686/M = Williams FW11
F687/S = Lotus 99T

(info comes from MK's program, those who have a Xport know what I'm talking about)

The Polyphony 1 exists in 6 different colors :
- Blue/White
- Black/Yellow/White
- Black/White
- Black
- Red/White
- Green/Yellow/White

And the Polyphony 2 also :
- Purple
- Red
- White

but the 3 last ones seem only to exist in the PAL version :
- Silver
- Blue
- Yellow

So If you got a blue F1, then that's a car the US cannot have ;)

Think about it. You get the Diablo JGTC, and we don't. We have to hack the thing out...
 
Only the Japanese version gets it, the PAL doesn't even have it in the game.:(

The Japanese version has the Diablo as a prize car, the US version has it but you can only get it by hacking and the European version has it's chassis and engine but no body so you can get the car but it looks like a Daihatsu.

No.

F094/S = P001; 790hp without oil change, 829hp with oil change; 813hp with oil change after run-out period.
F688/S = P002; 789hp without oil change, 829hp with oil change; 813hp with oil change after run-out period.

The car bodies are slightly different, but they are the same in every other aspect, and the F094/S or P001 is the quickest track car (not counting Test Course or Super Speedway, obviously).
