Are these cars worth it?

I'm sure this question is subject to personal opinions. But before I spend the credits....since I'm hovering around 500-700K. If either of these cars drive well? Or have a good "FUN" factor. I don't buy many cars yet just to collect because I'm still tuning cars and working my way through many aspects of the game. I've noticed that some cars, just don't handle well.

Shelby Cobra 427/66 ( have always loved this one of a kind piece of machinery)

And the

Morrison Corvette 60'. Since its gonna cost me some racing time for sure to earn some golds and maybe complete the Mercedes Expert Level.

I think they're both pretty fun, just be wary of putting too much power on the Cobra. :)

Agreed.

They are both great cars for driving. The Cobra Judy needs a longer transmission and you are all set with it.
 
Like the two guys above me said, be carful with the Cobra, to much power will make it quite difficult to drive. They are both fun cars though.

Edit: heck why not, I'll send you them, what one do you want first?
 
I'm not greedy or picky Stigy. If you are rolling in some credits from 2 years in the game it would make my week! I can continue to work on my cars for progress instead of buying a car for fun.
You can pick one. You probably like one of them for a reason, so it's your pick man.
I imagine the exhaust sound on those 2 cars in fantastic! And they are probably great to Photograph.

I grabbed the Catterham from the UCD. Kinda a shame the orange color is kinda beat up, the chrome/ metal is all faded. Is there a way to restore the appearance of the Caterham? Or will it always look like a well used car?

I'm not sure about the 'vette, but I swear the Cobra just doesn't work at low revs - I suggest adding just the supercharger and immediately getting something to help with the handling before considering more power.
 
Cobra is the one of the best and/or most frustrating cars to drive :lol:. With DS3 you can drift out of trouble, or indeed use it for drifting (stock, CH is a lovely drift car). But if you want to be fast you need kid gloves and lightweight shoes, leave the lead boots at home.

Best experienced stock with CS or SH, certainly not racing tyres. Try no aids for for a real challenge. Maybe change gear box for faster tracks to keep your sanity.

Get it right and you'll have a big smile on your face, wrong and you'll be head butting the controller/wheel in frustration. I love/ hate it, but keep going back for more - a bit like a destructive relationship I suppose :lol:.
 
Makes sense. It's one of those LOVE/HATE relationships ! Kinda like dating the VERY pretty / friendly cheerleader in College ? Looks to turn heads, and so much raw ( uncontrollable ) power, unless of course it's handled by an experienced driver?

I've been using my DS3 a lot for progression in the game but I wish I hadn't ever used it. Using the wheel for a few races a night, in low A Spec races with tamer cars and its still a challenge. FUN, but totally different.

A lot of my interest for these 2 cars simply comes from the classic/superb styling combined with tons of power.

I was in practice mode goofing around but couldn't get it to smoke or spin much. Ohhhh. Driver settings. With all the safety aids off.... Down right made a 42 year old man giggle like a school kid !!

Question about paint - IF, for example I paint a car with racing stripes, the stripes seem to be no more. Is there any way to re-stripe a car? I have a few two tone paint chips but not many. Is that for roof/body ? Or will it just o whatever that car expects ?

It's a very fun car. I used to drift it with just a couple parts on it. I always made a impression in drift lobbies, because of how smooth I was with it.

As for your paint question. Unfortunately no, the stripes will not come back after you paint it. I wish there was a way to paint the stripes separately from the body. Maybe in GT6.
 
Is the Tacoma X-Runner a truck worth getting? and if so, why are they so hard to come by?
 
1. I've heard so.
2. Because standard. The online dealership usually stocks at least one truck per cycle, so it'll probably show up there at some point. It'll be both brand new and fully broken in, so thus ideal.
 
I have the f150 Vt and the TacomaX. I kinda thought the SVT would be a lot faster but it isn't when compared to my TacomaX with the same basic mods. CPU, engine1, sport exhaust, cat, racing filter.
