Are these issues in GT3 fixed?

I just played GT3 and remembered few things I didnt like about it very much.

I wonder if these issues have been fixed in Gt4.

#1. When playing linked game (online for GT4 i guess), you CAN NOT use the garaged cars(hence, you can not use a car with your tweaks and etc.).

#2. An Autosave feature? (it's annoying to save and somtimes lose lot of races because you forget) . perhaps an option to turn it on or off.

#3.ahh yes, not being able to save more than 1 game per memory card

#4. 5.1 DD support for us with higher audio setup.

#5. more options (oil change , tire change, etc) during pit stop.

hmm ill play some more and edit this post. i had few more.
 
How about only being able to save 1 game per memory card. I hate that.

Yes, that is definately something I hope changes for GT4.

I wonder how many Sharkport/Xports were sold due to that single fact about GT3!?!

As far as any of the other issues you mentioned being fixed in GT4, I don't think anyone knows just yet. But we can hope right.

They did that so Sony can sell you more memory cards.

- autosave feature would suck big time and you would regret it in first "auto-save" save. Just think about it and while you think, think about the races you need to start again to win a certain championship. And just think Vitz/Yaris cup.

- useless. Why would you like more than one GT save per card? So that Sony can't have money? The biggest venues comes from memory cards. So Sony have money. And then they produce GT. Which needs new card for every game started. So players of GT are big card buyers. So Sony gives more money to PD. And then we have a better game. ;)

useless? perhaps for a person who doesnt know value of a dollar and wants to throw it away :rolleyes: your "memory card > sony > more money to PD > then better game" nonsense is one of the most retarded things ive ever heard. :rolleyes:
 
Short of their being a GT memory card PD would'nt get any of the money made from card sales.

I have 3 cards :O

1. for my main game
2. for a game with cheats (a gazillion money :D)
3. for backup
(4. for GT4) :trouble:
 
My first post here...
I hope during pit stop the oil change option can be performed because in GT3 I hate when the oil runs out during the race and the car's performance decreased eventually. I hope they correct it in GT4.

ahh yes i wish we could change oil mid championships :)

and one more thing

ANy info if GT4 will support 5.1 DD or DTS?

i know PS2 hardware is capable of it and Dolby gave open license to sony so any game producer can make it DD5.1 for free :)

An oil change in the middle of a race won`t make sense coz it would be very unrealistic changing the oil in 1 minute and making it life like it`s gonna cost 2 much. Maybe they should just up the oil life. but it should def be changeable in championship mode between races.

I would love a better 3rd person view as well!!! PD really ****** up there.

Also I want the option to respray my bloody car to any colour I like!

And the random car win thing is bull****. I`ve raced the super speedway 4 times before I got the car I wanted. The player should be allowed to choose between any of those cars which he wants
 
GT3 only had that cos there were more cups than prize cars. GT4 won't have to use the same prize car for more than 1 cup as it will have more cars than GT2 had.
 
As for the oil that should only be allowed to be changed between races, you should have petrol changes between mid race though.
