Are these some features we can look forward to in the future?

So, I was just reading the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race report here: http://eu.gran-turismo.com/gb/news/d46554.html

And read that:

A version of Gran Turismo brought in specially for the development played an important role and greatly improved the efficiency of the testing. And in return, the process for finding optimal settings for a real racing car created tremendous amounts of data, bringing newfound wisdom to Gran Turismo engineers.

Could this data that they logged somehow help improve the realism in GT in the future, or am I completely off the mark?

Also a picture of Lucas on the copy of GT they were using - note the extra data displayed on screen:

The special development version of Gran Turismo brought into the garage. Damper strength, spring ratio, aerodynamics and fuel economy can be set in an instant, and test driven.

Gran turismo world is full of surprises, alot of info in the screen that we don't have.

I think this can come on GT5 in big update in the future, something like Spec2 was (Spec3?)... The tire load indicator they introduced is a sign that they have interest on giving us these tools.

I'm just wondering what Spec 3 would contain Spec 2 did wonders compared to where GT5 started out with.

Maybe their putting their data logger into testing, I read last winter (somewhere in news section) that GT5s data logger was going to be released a standalone product. Maybe their perfecting the content of data that is logged, and is getting ready for the real world.

Look for it in an FR-S/GT 86 near you. Not yet, but rather on upcoming models.
