I know that some cars have been modeled with doors that can open but has Polyphony Digital actually modeled a sequence for the avatar entering or leaving a vehicle.

In the Grand Tour special event I saw that the avatar has programmed movement such as walking, waving etc. but I never saw the avatar leaving or entering any vehicles

He gets into Mikko Hirvonen's Focus WRC car. Just saw the sequence of my driver getting into the car on the main menu screen.

The X2010 challenge shows Vettel climbing into his prototype (I know, not your driver).

Why do you ask?

I couldn't even for the life of me remember if the transitions had been modeled. I was beginning to think PD must have got lazy because I could remember my avatar walking, waving, posing and the like, I could also remember seeing cars with open doors in the Grand Tour, but I couldn't remember any transitions and it just seemed a bit odd...

I don't think they would model "transitions," other than for cut-scenes, because what would they do if a person tries to enter a Standard car?

Am I the only one who laughed at this? I think what it would look like, since PD do not want you to see the inside of a standard car, the door wouldn't open and then your driver just walks through the door into the car. It wouldn't look right though.
