I would like to know if it is against the rules to post game saves for people to have and put on an alternative account and gift themselves things. I would like to know before suggesting it and getting in trouble.

Your game save is linked to your account, therefore other people can not use it. Sorry :/

The only way people can use your game save is if you also give them the login info to your PSN account. Which I'm betting is not something you'd be willing to do.

Not true, it's possible these days to use any save on any account if you know how to do it.

I'm thinking that you should be very careful suggesting that it can be done and even more questionable giving instructions for how to do it.
I don't know if it is clearly stated GTP guidelines but PD and Sony might have something to say about it.:nervous:

Uploading saves for games so other people can use them is perfectly allowed by the AUP. There is even a thread in the Gaming in General forum that has a large list of PSX, PS2 and PS3 games.

Talking about how to circumvent the locks placed on save games is not.

I never mentioned anything about how to, just said that it can be done and has been possible for over a year now. If Sony, or even Microsoft had any problem with the product i'm sure they would have taken the company to court by now as the same product is available from a respected UK company for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
