Are we still having server issues?

I am in North America and have not been able to connect to the servers since day 1. I can connect to the PSN no problem, but am still getting the same error. If this is still an issue on Sony's part, then fine, but I do not want to be waiting if everything is up, and it is a problem on my end somehow.

Come on Sony! an answer from someone. I can not believe this part of the game is still unavailable!! You have had plenty of time get with it and fix the server issue.

If anyone knows if there is an updated statement from Sony on this or anything that can shed some light it would be appreciated.
 
I've got the same problem. I've got all the patches that they've released since day one, and I still cannot play online :grumpy: This is ridiculous!

I'm glad I didn't get rid of my PS2 and GT4. There's so much in GT4 that is 100% better than GT5. Sure, 5 looks pretty, but what doesn't these days? 5 years.... :banghead: :irked:
