Well, are you?

I am, I can't get enough of the forensic shows. I've read a couple of books too, mostly on Jack the Ripper and Serial Killers (Really, its not what you think....:D)

I've seen most of the "New Detective" shows on Discovery and TLC.

Now i'm hooked on CSI:D

Anyways, are you intrested in forensics, or does that stuff just creep you out?

LOL! That's the best delivery. I love Shatner, though I prefer the pre-toupee years.

I am interested in the forensics aspects, though I can't call myself a "junky". I watch a few of the crime scene cable shows.

I've read a couple of the obscenely-overrated "Kay Scarpetta" novels by Patricia Cornwell, and they suck out loud. Not only is every single character annoying, but the logic and details are so poor that I can't begin to get involved in the books. I tried one and didn't much like it, but everybody raves about them so much I gave her a couple more chances. It was more than she deserved. If you haven't read any, don't.

i did... and i had the same feelings.

never read a supposedly "forensic psycho sci-fi" that was such utter crap.

Jack the Ripper *Sounds familiar* Isn't he that d00d from down here??? He wrote this kids book about a butcher being chopped...:reallyodd

I like watching the Forensic science and medical detectives shows on TLC and discovery....the only thing I hate is that they are on late at night right before I go to bed, and sometimes gives me pretty scary dreams...

ooops too late for me then, although I was too lazy to read them so I got an audiobook from the library. Yes indeedy what a load of bollocks, actually the woman who read the damn thing out probably added most of the annoyance to it.
