Are you smarter than a 5th grader?

Has anybody seen this show?

I must say, I despise that show for a couple of things:

1- I'm 80% sure it's fake, because nobody can be that stupid.

2- why are the same kids always chosen? Why don't they bring regular 5th graders to really see if adults are smarter than them? Not the same nerds every time.

I get angry when I see really smart people going to Jeopardy and win less than 20k per show (these are the ones who did a pretty good job), and the guys who participate in the 5th grader show, walk out with probably hundreds of thousands of dollars! I mean come on! Could that be possible?


It's so stupid, I was just watching part of it, trying to like it. But I failed when one question was:

Which state is farther west? 1. Alaska 2. California 3. Nevada.

The peanut head answered "California".....
and if ti wasn't for taking the option of "peeking" to the kid next to him, he would have gone home with nothing.

I saw this show for the first time tonight. I didn't watch the whole thing, but I was correct on all 5, 6 questions that I did see asked.

I felt sho shmart!
