Electric Porsche 911: All of the looks. None of the character. Coming soon to beige Toyota dealers near you!

There's something that seems very off about that roof. It looks cheap and photoshopped.

I just think it's ugly with the redesigned roof and window.

I'd take a RUF over a Porsche any day.

Yuk... overstyled and over wheeled as usual from the tuner boys.

I think the thread title is misleading, it suggests RUF would produce anything other than a new 911 variant. Why is it surprising?

Don't think it's the roof itself but the rear window made out of see-through flexible fabric like you see on convertibles with a cloth roof and unlike the original 911 Targa which had a fixed glass rear window.
Makes the contours appear fuzzy and seem at odds with the rest of the styling.

The roof is dated, the rest is fine.

Question: Do you know what is a 9ff? I saw one parked and it lacked a maker logo.

You guys don't seem to understand what Ruf is doing here. A lot of their products have little nods to classic Porsches.

This one refers to the uber-rare pre-impact bumper soft window Targas.

To Porsche aficionados, this is an awesome nod to Porsche history.

Whaat?! I love that car! :D As classical as sportive, if you know what I mean.
