arms hurt using cockpit?

After 2 or 3 minutes into any race, my arms really start to hurt. I tried repositioning the wheel bars, the seat slider, nothing is helping. This doesn't happen when I drive my real car...anyone have this problem? I think it's the seat height, it needs to be higher so my arms aren't as high. Lowering the wheel brings it further away so that doesn't help much as my arms will just be fully extended...a 7 minute lap around the 'Ring and my arms feel like they're going to fall off.

Is your wheel mounted on a "flat" surface? That's why I make mt wheel mount at an angle see:

I have noticed that also, but only after a couple hours of intense racing. It could be because your wheel isnt at an angle like OPELGT said. My rig has the wheel at an angle so I couldnt tell you from that point of view.

 
move the wheel closer to arms on the same height! 💡

When you are seated, stretch your arms staight out. The place on your wrist that is where you take your pulse should be at the outside rim of the steering wheel. This is the accepted guide for getting the correct angle in your arms. Then with your hands on the wheel at the quarter to three position, turn the wheel each way as far as you can without moving your hands. You can lell from doing this if the ange of the wheel needs changing. Ergonomics are so important for sustained comfort. The more adjustments you can have in your cockpit, the better. Hope this makes sense and is helpful.
