I'm getting crazy here! I am currently at A-spec level 26 with 700,000 of cash but i don't have enough money to buy those 4 million cars and complete all the expert series.

I got gold on all seasonal events and special events, but i spent all the money with the formula GT and with a Lexus Petronas Racing Car.

I started B-spec, but with one race i got 5,000 credits. What the hell? How am I supposed to get any progress on my carrer? And I don't want to sell my cars...

Is it 'legal' to borrow a car of a friend?

The goal throughout the game has been to represent real life. So there is your answer.

Buy a Corvette ZR1, do the race mod at GT Auto and run American Champ. Indy until you can't see straight. The prize of 117,000 goes back down to 98,000 at the end of the month.

I'm at level 25 A spec, level 26 B Spec, and nearly 9 million credits. The trick is not to spend anything you don't have to, and especially stop spending money on drift cars and premiums (just because you have to have them).

Have you run the seasonal events? If not there's lot of Cr waiting for you there. Your investment in a GT-R Vspec '09 will be well rewarded. Also, Special Events at your level pay decently if you can manage to gold some. Nascar challenge will give you a nascar-car, which can give you another mill from seasonal event bonus race 2 #5.

Yes, and this is a very popular way of progressing in the game.

Also, all of the above posts are great advice, take note of them and you will be fine. 👍

You can use the FGT in the dream car race in A or B spec and earn over 1 million credits each time you run it. Much quicker in A-Spec but much easier in B-Spec. You can also run the American championship Indy race over and over at 117k a pop. The Vette works well but if you have already won the dream car race you can use the Ford GT race car which is not quite as fast as the vette but is actually easier to win this race with.

You can also run the like the wind race to get the Minolta which you can use in other races such as the all stars if you are stuck there.

On the historic race you are best off to just let it go until you get to B-Spec level 21 and let Bob win like the wind which will net you a Toyota 7 race car that can be used in the historic race.

As to the other question yes it is legal to borrow a car from a friend.

Dreamcar B Spec. 108 per race win and there is 5 races, 540.000 or thereabouts for the series win. Doesnt take too long either and to me is preferable to grinding indy on ASpec.

*Edit* Didnt see Roadhogs post :)

Haha!That's true!👍

I've started my new carrier and I do only special events and on-line bonus races and buying just cars that I need to progress - ton's of money!:sly:

I did the same but bought even fewer cars sending 1 a day from my other account and have taken the new account to level 26 a spec 29 bspec in a short while and managed to max out the money on it to get the P4330 race car.

There are still a lot of races I have not ran in A-Spec as well. Just waiting now for level 30 B-Spec so I can run the X1 challenge and jump a few more A-Spec levels.

To relieve the sometimes boring money grind at the Extreme American Indy race I do the Extreme Euro Rome race for credits as it is more interesting being a city circuit for 99K a time (at the moment). With that I get to try out loads of nice cars that I buy for it.

GT5 is not the only game to suffer from this. I am currently running 9 lap races of the 'Ring in a very fast modded Mazda LM car to get enoguh cash to buy the last car on the latest DLC (I have about 800K and need 2.75 million). Using their equivalent of Bob earns me 85K or so for the race. At least Bob in GT5 does not take a cut of the winnings. The full prize in FM3 is 110K and with bonuses less the hired driver cut I get the 85K!

How is it that people can act like they are throwing away their money??

I'm at level 26 A/B spec, have 370 cars, inc FGT, and i still have 7.1 mil. credits

Seriously, stop being n00bish, and collect the money! 💡

yep Dream Car CHampionship on B-spec is the winner as of right now, it is the last of the extreme events so you need a decent bspec level to compete in it and of course an X1 helps.

you only need to run the first 4 races to collect the prize money, just start the nurburgring race then quit immediatly, if you dont start the 5th race and quit before you will not recieve the money so be aware

I run the dream car over and over money. I run the first 4 races, start the 5th, then quit while my car is still in the starting grid. Its 982,000 credits. Once you get the x1, it can be done in about an hour.

If you want to grind levels, the fastest for me was doing monza int he euro championship in extreme. Use both drivers and they both get good exp.

Thank you, I'll try that later!

You didnt know TC...this is GT5 you have to grind to "earn" your cars.

Sorry, I just didn't understand what you meant by "grind". :P

Yeah. I did the mistake by buying useless cars in the beginning. Thank you!

I didn't know that I could get credits from playing these races all over again! I'll try to get a better B-Spec level, even though i don't like B-spec. :yuck:

Damn. Hate B-spec! Thank you!

I just wonder how am I supposed to get all those premium cars that costs over than 10 million!

Hmm, so if u can save up money, in stead of buying useless cars u have no life?

👍

U suck at playing this game!

The reality of having to work for something may just be to much reality for the op. :)

Hey there's always Mario Kart.💡

How can you stand up for those B-spec races? They're boring!

If you put a bit of effort in to B speccing at the beginning and get to the level neccessary to open the enduros, you can run B spec whilst you sleep/work... no effort at all then.

I started B-spec, but with one race i got 5,000 credits. What the hell? How am I supposed to get any progress on my carrer? And I don't want to sell my cars...

It was the same in A-spec............at level 0 what do you expect? 5 million credits right away, to go buy the Vitz you need for the Beginner championship??? The money grind is brutally easy, I don't see what the problem is. You've obviously spent alot more than you need. Plan out your championships, and race using the cars that you have. Earn prize cars, and race with those. I'm almost done the expert series, and have one endurance race done, and I've NEVER felt the need to go grind a race for money. I have yet to get into a problem where I couldn't buy a car I needed for a race.

Yeah. I did the mistake by buying useless cars in the beginning. Thank you!

What a completely useless thread, as you answered your own question here.............

If you put a bit of effort in to B speccing at the beginning and get to the level neccessary to open the enduros, you can run B spec whilst you sleep/work... no effort at all then.

Except that for some inexplicable reason...the enduros pay a ridiculously low amount of money given the time...

Experience good, money, bad.

But it's free money... requires no effort or input.

If you need to earn money you run the DC Championship in either A or B spec.

Or you just get to 5-6 mill and dupe anything you want to own whilst hanging on to your cash.

yep, do it all the time 👍

This.

I just sit around getting stuff done and come in and check to restart the DC Indy race. Gets me free money while I accomplish real things. At night, I'll start one of the B-Spec enduros and wake up in the morning, usually the Indy 500.

Beg borrow or steal the fastest car that you can with the best tyres that you can and do b-spec. Really all it is for me is a money maker I have no idea how any one can "enjoy" it, so picking a stupidly over powered car is no moral issue.

The early races give low credits and take forever if you do it "properly", but later on there is a champinship which gives 117k per race (less than 20 mins long - tbh I forget but it may be sub 8mins in the X1) and then 512k for winning over all

You also get some nice cars which you can use on A-spec... if thats your thing

I am level 21ish a-spec, and level 26 b-spec, I havent touched the sesonal events and pretty much gave up on a-spec (no interest in doing 234124124hour races - My joy is online at the ring) I have almost 5million credits, and just spent around 1.5million credits on a nice mclaren F1 today, few days back I spent 1mil on the "wrong" audi (doh).

I randomly fully mod almost every car I get, just for a laugh :dunce: sucks if it turns out to be rubbish but then again...

Money isnt an issue once you get bspec going, you can just fire it on while you cook/watch tv/whatever and boom another bunch of credits

Instead of falling asleep griding Indy for 117k credits, you can start the race and then take a nap! BTW, what's a "social life"?

You could if you did not have to manually start each race. Indy American championship is still the fastest credit grinder. It puts me to sleep though. I have 20 million Cr..

That's not really true...
You see, this game was made for you to enjoy it and not finishing it in a month!
So it's quite normal for people to spend money in cars they like that aren't really usefull in both A-spec and B-spec...

go b-spec, at lvl 12 you have a race that can be done in 3min and you get 20k reward.

thats 400k/hour for doing nothing

and do the seasonal events, you'll be spending ~120k per car and getting a LOT of money from the races

👍 Started the 9 hr race before I went to bed, Started another before I went to work. 1.2M+ exp and I should have an X1/X2010 (lvl 35) when I get home tonight.
