Arrow Grey Pearl Effect??

Can anyone tell me where Arrow Grey Pearl Effect comes from? A friend of mine sent me a car that was painted with it. However, when I received the car, the paint acted as though it was a DLC paint, ie I received the car painted in the colour, but I didn't get the chip. Instead I got a chip for one of the stock colours for that car.

Any help is appreciated.

Also, if this colour comes from a UCD car, and can in fact be traded, I am interested in getting my hands on two copies of the chip.
 
I think it's the Beetle RSI that's in the new ocd Sir.👍

Edit: I was wrong that car has Silver Arrow Metallic,I'll keep looking.

Edit2: Arrow Gray Pearl Effect comes from the Audi TT Coupe 1.8T quattro '00 I'll send some across at next reset as I have sent paints today already.👍

All cars act that way when sent to somebody else. You get the stock color, no matter what.

Really? Huh :boggled: I always thought just the DLC paints didn't give the chip that's on the car....guess that shows how much I actually pay attention lol. Thanks :)
 
It's also why it's taken me almost a full year to obtain every chip in the game (not including chips from the dlc though I have some of those ones).
