I said this a long time ago that after GOW3 there would be prequals and spin offs until GOW4 is announced on the next console. We already have the first step of this with the prequal called Judgement. Well here you go here is step 2. GOW RTS. It is even called a spin off. lol

Screens believed to be from an alpha build of a Kinect-exclusive Gears of War spin-off have appeared online.
According to VGLeaksthe game was tentatively titled Gears of War Tactics and, as the name implies, featured top down real-time strategy-esque gameplay.
It is believed that players would have been required to use Microsoft's motion sensor to draw paths for units to move using their finger, and to select actions with gestures.
Rumours of a Gears of War Kinect spin-off first surfaced in 2010 and were later strengthened when Epic trademarked Gears of War: Exile.
Last year series creator Cliff Bleszinski confirmed that the title had indeed been in development, but didn't progress as intended and was later canned
