Okay, i kno all yall say MOMO STEERING WHEEL, but every website i go to, it says its compatibility is ONLY pc, so.....wuts with that? And should I get the momo OR the Mad Catz Universal Wheel (it has pedals, wheel, and a shifter also) heres a link to one
GameStop - Mad Catz Universal Wheel

So....which one? I would like one with a shift knob...do only momo and this mad catz have that? Can u give me links to places....?

TRUST ME, it works....
....just with prity much any other PS2 games are uncompatable(sp?)...

i found a site that showed which games are compatable with it, bot long forgot it...

so how does it work with PS2? Through the USB port? And if i want to use other car games, it wont be compatible? Hmm is the mad catz aite or a total no go?

well i am compleatly satisfied.

try searching for momo "logitech wheel PS2" and find a site that shows whitch ps2 games are compatable, i know its more than just a few...

i ordered the momo because I have the money and it just seemed more professional, so i got that, i didnt get the force one...should I have? Hope not, plus that thing costs to much for the force one, so yea, hope it turns out to be good, every1 here recommends it, cant wait to drift in it

Hhhhmm - I recently purchased the Momo FF wheel (got it for the PC) - and hoped it would work on GT3 - but so far no luck.

Is there a particular version numer that is PS2 compatible?

I can say that on the PC, it is the best wheel I have ever had - and it made a huge difference to how GrrandPrix Legends plays.

Oh, i didnt purchase the FF wheel, so i guess i got the compatible one but yea, they seem sturdy, not all cheap like other wheels (especially the pedals), and how does the shifter work on it? Is it like a gear box or is it just up and down motion?

Just an up and down motion.

PLZ TELL ME THE FIRST ONE IS THE ONE THAT WORKS! Or is it neither?

from reading all the posts on steering wheels, the red one you have pictured, MOMO force, works on the PS2 and GT3. the MOMO racing wheel might work but no GT3. i may have read the posts wrong since i've read too many of them but i think that is the consensus. :D

damn, then what should I do? Try and cancel the order I guess? Damn, im not tryna shell out the money for the red one, almost like 15-20 more than the black one, so is the Mad Catz Universal alright too?

the logitech ones for the ps2 are the way to go, if you don't want to have to worry about the MOMO wheels compatability. i've always wanted to buy a wheel but i have a hard time convincing myself to buy it for just the one game.
if you want to read other posts, just do a search in the forums and see what others say. most will agree that the logitech wheels are much better than any other. something you might want to do is go down to your local Best Buy or Comp USA and feel the wheels. there was a big difference between the wheels as far as the feel of the wheel, the feel of the "ears" and the pedals...which i wasn't able to step on. i had the opportunity to play GT3 at E3 years ago. they used the blue logitech wheels and it was great (i won 2 out of 3 races...one 27 secs ahead, the other 15 secs ahead, the last less than a sec behind). it was heaven. you sat in a bucket seat that adjusted. you had a huge TV in front of you, and you raced against 8 others ( i re-live the moment a lot in my head.....*sigh*) the MOMO wheels definitely felt the best but compatability with all the PS2 driving games is an issue. with GT4 coming, i don't think anyone knows if the MOMO wheel will be compatable. i was thinking of getting the MOMO wheel but decided to get the blue driving force wheel instead. mainly for compatablility. if they made a MOMO that worked with all PS2 driving games, i would buy it without hesitation :D

Isn't there a problem with the Logitech wheel that has to do with braking. I remembering reading something about not being able to brake 100%, but more like 75% instead. Has this problem been brought to the attention of and resolved by Logitech? Perhaps it was the older batch of wheels that had this defect?

Get the LIME GREEN ONe...it's rare and only found in the adarondaks....in a small shop titled "Small shop in the adarondaks"
