Aspark has claimed the title of the fastest electric car in the world with the latest version of its Owl hypercar, racking up a lofty 272mph...

If it still has the original car's 69kw/h battery and presumably the original car's 1480kw motor set...it could only maintain that top speed for about 3 minutes before completely depleting the battery - still covering around 12.5 miles!

A Veyron burns through 26 gallons of fuel in 12 minutes at top speed, for comparison.

Never heard of this vehicle till today Awesome achievement and I think the cars awesome. 🏁
