aspec NASCAR and fgt

I need serious help please. The only non enduro aspec events I need are the NASCAR and fgt events in the class under endurance. I can't even come close to winning. Always last so I gave up.

How can I win? I have no chance since the cars are the same. I always need way better to win in all other events. I don't think ill ever finish aspec cus I can't win those 2 events.

F2007 turns way better then fgt and I do good in the defeating f1 races. Fgt has to go way slower and doesn't turn at all like f2007. I've lowered top speed for better accel and still got no chance in fgt. I've even tried lowering fgt grip to lowest to see if it'll turn like the f2007. Not a chance.

Same in NASCAR. Don't have a is what to do.

I use ps3 sixaxis normal controller.

Id love some help. Please.
 
I'd recommend checking our Greycap's NASCAR tune. With it I was able to win all the races except Daytona with gold medals. Trust me, Daytona is a wicked animal that you need specific tuning for that track, Grey's won't help you there.

For the FGT race, I haven't a clue; I haven't even tried it yet, myself.
 
For Nascar the trick is in the gearbox. Set the topspeed to what you need (high for Indy, lower for the other races). Then adjust the first two gears: move their sliders all the way to the right.

This will prevent the automatic gearbox from shifting down too much and will allow you to mash the gas without losing grip/control due to wheelspin.
 
I put my own weight in the NASCAR racers using the ballast (as suggested on GTP) and found even with the extra weight the car was easier to drive and power was more controllable.
I would also recommend Greycap's tune from the tuning forum. It's a big help.
 
Just use the assists and racing soft tires. If you really are struggling with the braking and cornering points just turn on the driving line and follow that to some extent. 👍
 
In the NASCAR Daytona race use whatever settings you want. The trick to is stay down on the yellow line and don't let the AI draft you.
 
Is it possible to turn down the ASM and ABS ??
Because in the JG N-School you can´t (after the update).

Daytona is a wicked Crash derby. (10laps of HELL)
It is the toughest race of GT5, I had to do it 10-15 times to gold it. But it was fun.

FGT:
You need to have to drive certain Lap-Times to finish first. (Example: Fuji 1:15-1:17 for 20laps and you will win it)
Get comfortable with the Car and the Tracks before you enter the Championship (thats what I did)
And a little Downforce tip: Don´t max the rear DF. Add to the front 15-20 to get the Downforce for the rear.
Tweak your LSD settings and just drive the Car till your fine with it.

Really?? I know for sure I won the Nascar Championship with a huge Lead. Even on Daytona? I thought it was waaaaaaaaaaaaay to easy.
 
Yup, I'm having the same problem that the stupid AI can't not wreck my car. I don't think I've cleanly finished that race in about 10 attempts and counting.
 
Don't know about the FGT races as I don't have a FGT car yet :guilty:
But NASCAR sure is a pain in the rear! :grumpy: I was seriously getting pissed-off when none of my bobs could win the NASCAR races in B-Spec mode, then I tried it myself in A-Spec! I quickly apologized to my bobs and took them out for some icecream! lol
