It has happened before. If PD dropped that car lineup in an update, we’d all be hospitalized from happiness
i just want a new track, so i can have the interest to install it again..If PD dropped that car lineup in an update, we’d all be hospitalized from happiness
Failed miserably at what? I use FM way more than GT7 if I ever even turn GT7 on at all these days. Do you really think any of these are going to change this downward spiral GT has been going in that some would say since GT5? Even though I liked 5 and 6 for what they were. Do you think a GT8 is going to change any of this or a FM or an AC Evo is going to all the sudden make a GT8 that much better?I was expecting from Forza Motorsport but it failed miserably
I'm guessing that "new content" is never going to be a problem in each release, as tracks and cars should follow pretty predictable timescales. So after 0.3 we have, leaving aside "new content":The full release is possibly at least a year out unless things get easier for kunos going forward.
They could drop any 5: from that line up and it would be a great dlc. This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Assetto Corsa EVO Update 0.3 Will Introduce Multiplayer, Improved Physics, New Cars, Tracks & More
Kunos Simulazioni’s Marco Massarutto has detailed much of what’s on the way in the third major update for the early access version of Assetto Corsa EVO...
I think this must depend on the settings - car, track, difficulty maybe, as I tried a couple of 5 lap races yesterday, one before the update, one after, and didn't have any significant problems with the AI. I also tried a 5 lap race on max difficulty in Forza Motorsport, and while the AI wasn't as terrible as it has been in the past, I still got rear ended into a corner at one point, and saw multiple instances of AIs just driving off the track for no reason. The AC Evo AIs were more timid, FM AIs more aggressive, as you'd expect for the AC Evo AIs currently being fixed at the extreme safe end of the spectrum. The AI however are still wonky as hell though. 😬 They remind me of Forza Motorsports AI before they fixed it where cars in groups will just wildly brake for no reason. Especially in front of you. Yikes. I have confidence they'll fix this though in time.
The first race I did in AC Evo was with the Audi RS6 on Red Bull Ring. At the start, there were AI's that just stood there not moving. Others that hooked completely left or right instead of just going straight. 😬 😂I think this must depend on the settings - car, track, difficulty maybe, as I tried a couple of 5 lap races yesterday, one before the update, one after, and didn't have any significant problems with the AI. The 0.3 physics update seems like a good step forward to me, I felt like my ability to control the car with a controller is better. Still a fair bit short of how well I can control a real car, but a lot better than it was. I was able to comfortably win a race against the AI in the new version, with the same car and difficulty that I couldn't win in the old version (in the old version, the difficulty varied a lot with car, some cars were really easy to win with on max difficulty, others really hard, so you have to compare with the same car). My fastest lap was around 1.5 seconds quicker.
