Great stuff, no?

'56 Fleetwood! My aunt had one of these, except hers was a 4-door in black. Whatta car! In the rear view, see the little round reflector at the base of the taillight? Push that in on the right hand side, and the whole taillight flips up, revealing the gas cap...

Well he did call the thread Aston Amor...

It's a DB2/4 Drophead Coupe actually, a Mk. I I believe.

It's odd though that it has a racing-style gas cap instead of the standard covered gas cap on regular early DBs.

When I was in the garage of the owner, on the way to their garden (it was open garden weekend - where you get to see otherwise hidden private miniature paradises), I noticed 20 years worth of classic car race participation plates ... so I reckon that has something to do with the racing-style gas cap ... ;) I get to see this car driving regularly there too, even came across it on the highway. You can't miss those tiny round red brake-lights-doubling-as-turn-signals, or the wonderful sound.

Thanks everyone for putting a name and type on the cars! And Famine, I, nor my car, nor anything or anyone else but the owner laid a finger (or any other protruding part or member) on that car, so you can sleep easy. ;)
