You're kidding right? No Austin Martin DB 9 in GT4????

Damn that sucks and why Toca Driver 2? doesn't this only have race cars and no streetcars??

Would be a shame if its true & I do remember Race Driver advertised that it has the DB 9 in it.

And basje_1, its Aston Martin, not Austin Martin :)

Heres an austin :

Yeah sorry I know just miss typt i guess exclusive, would Aston Martin really do that? I know Ferrari and Porsche did, but still regret it

Even More Emportantly, were did you here about GT4 for Game Cube, LoudMusic. Because I thought the gran turismo series was exclusively for Playstation....

There are the 4 only cars that NEED to be in gran Turismo 4. PERIOD.

Just to note: Jeremy Clarkson recently drove the DB9 from London to Monte Carlo and his comrades were travelling their journey by train (TGV), The train supposedly clocked 186mph.

THE DB9 Won!!!

If Codemasters had the exclusive licence it would normally be pointed out in their licencing prints in manuals ect so if anyone can check. Also LoudMusic's comment about GT4 appearing on GC was sarcastic basje 1.

Just had a flick though manual & looked on box, but I can't see any manufacturers licensing 'details' anywhere.

Hmm, odd theres nearly always a licencing section. Even GT2 detailed it's licences for each car in that game including cars that you needed a Game Shark to get.

There is still no good info about what cars belong to what game console, or what game company. It's hard to keep up with who has whom.

Yeah i quit following that a long time ago....there are so many rumors, it's hard to believe any of them these days.

It's entirely possible for Aston Martin to give exclusivity to CodeMasters. Aston Martin cares about who will give them money, they really don't care too much about what game it goes into.

Actually I can recall a license which made it impossible for Aston to give an exclsive license to any company and it's part of the licence with James bond, no one can take Aston for themselves in any type of game even if it's liited to racing games (remeber 007 racing anyone?).

Well if Aston Martin is smart they will give out the licence. I read in somewhere that sales of TVR have sixfolded in japan just because of GT. It would be a great marketing step. (I read it on IGN, prob in Arwin's article)

Yep, Japan wasn't all too aware of what TVR's weer and could do before GT and as a result of the games effect on TVR sales, Sony was given open access to the TVR licence and I don't even think they had to pay for it.
