What views do you hold on astrology and its associated fields, like numerology?

Personally I think it is a joke. How can the position of the planets affect what goes on in your life? Moreover, how can the same "prediction" hold for every Aquarian or Gemini in the world?

Just doesnt add up. Maybe someone can shed some light.

PS: your lucky number for today is 1/8th.

I think it's a brand of junk-food philosophy. The same things happen to everyone, at any time, at any place...regardless of when you are born.

Some people are just looking for answers for a test that hasn't been given yet.

yeah mike, your Horlicks suspicion may be right my friend.....

look at it like this....its says that Taurus, you will have a good day and unexpectedly come into some money....

does that mean that 1/12 of the population of planet earth are gonna have the same kind of day...i find that hard to believe....

the alignment of the planets will have minute electromagnetic influences over the earth and gravitation effects, but these are very insignificant....perhaps in some way they can influence a persons mood into a more positive frame of mind....but still, youll have a had time proving that.....

To make matters worse, that alignment only occurs every few hundred years :odd:

Usually it is more like: Your Mars is entering Venus or Jupiter is in phase .

 I need to find some fish paste. It is my lucky substance till the 19th.

People who are into astrology tend to want something they don't already have, something big like love, success, contentment; in short, it is for desperate, impatient people who need constant reassurance.

Personally I don't believe in astrology and horoscopes and stuff. But my mom does. :odd:

I can cleary remember one thing my mom said to me when she went to one of those stupid horoscope/astrologers :

She said... I'd prolly marry someone from another background (not from the same race as me). :odd: Bah, I don't really care what crap they say.

I don't believe horoscopes/astrology!!1!1!111

What a load of crap.

Astrology to me is just like a fortune cookie. They pull random sayings and thoughts out of there ass', then try to pass it off like it is holy wisdom that you should live by.

In fact I believe fortune cookies are better because Astrology doesn't taste near as good. :)

I agree with milefile. I think that people who believe in astrology are generally too weak to take responsibility for their own lives. I also agree with TurboSmoke (damn you two for taking my points! :)) in that it's impossible to say that 1/12th of the world are going to have the same kind of day.

Come into some money huh? probably finding a penny or 2 in the parking lot or 50 cents in the couch

I don't believe in it. I never have believed in all the taro cards and reading palms and looking into a crystal ball crap. It's all just a scam to rob people of their money in my opinion.

Ok... fortunes are like fortune cookies.. their all told in generalities.. like something good will happen in the future.. or u will find love.. of course u will over time
