Not in the US, but in other countries the price will come down. The 7 series is priced quite a bit higher than in the US.

I would hope the 7800GT will come down to around $300. It would take market away from the X1600 at $249. The 7800GT would control both mid and high-range markets with specs to take down a X1800XL.
