Announcing *The ATR Championships, Series Four*

This is the forth installment of the ATR OLR series races. My goal of the ATR series races is to provide the Gran Turismo 3 racer ( anyone, of any skill level ) with a broad array of challenging races on which to test their skills against racers from across message boards. Most OLR’s are stock car only with A-Class cars running the same old tracks. This is an attempt to change that. As always, any car in your garage is OK, as long as it fits for the catagory of race it will enter ( see below ). This series race is 12 courses long, and runs under standard online racing rules, no wall-smacking, gamesharking, hybrids, or short-cutting. Sharkport is not required but honesty is. Save a best lap replay for reference. All cars will run medium tires on tarmac and dirt tires for dirt courses ( of course ). The catagories of races are the same as always; listed below:

< GT Open > any cars but F1’s are acceptable. Any tuning is OK.

< Formula 1 > as the name implies, this is a race for F1 cars. Tuning OK.

< Open Rally > any car running dirt tires is acceptable here; if the Pike’s Peak Escudo is run it must use the Normal Turbo Kit ( here and in any race in this series ). Tuning’s fine.

< Dedicated Rally > only rally cars ( with the word “Rally” in the name ) can enter, no Escudo. Tune all you want.

< Road Car GT > any non-racing, non-rally can is OK. Tuning is acceptable. Basically, any of the ‘regular’ cars, that is, Skylines, Lancer’s, Supra’s, and others, ect..... Tuning permitted.

< Normal Car GT > same as Road Car GT class above, however no tuning is permitted beyond the follow: oil change, Stage 1-3 weight reductions, Displacement Up, Port Polish, and Full-Engine Balancing are allowed. This was recently changed to save racers from having to buy all new cars, as the above mods can not be removed once installed.

The races are run in Arcade Mode Freerun, with the best lap time to be submitted to me by way of Email. This time I have included the track list here; individual races may sometimes add special restrictions in addition to the class regulations above. The races:

1. Midfield RaceWay 2, <Formula 1> race.

2. Seattle Circuit 2, <GT Open> Cars in this race must come from these manufactures: Jaguar, Ashton Martin, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Gillet, Lister, Lotus, Panoz, Shelby, TVR, or Tickford.
