Hi guys, my G25 shifter just recently started malfunctioning, 4th gear sometimes shifts into 6th. Anyway it's about a year old and i contacted the retailer for warranty. They're telling me it's only 1 year warranty, i remember reading the booklet that came with the device saying 2 years...I alrdy did a google search, came up with mixed results.

So if you guys still have the little warranty booklet, can you please check for me? :ouch:

Oh if anyone has had to do a G25 warranty claim, please share your experience. so far they been pushing me back and forth between retailer and logitech. none wanna take it.:grumpy:

Hey, I recently had trouble with my G25, the brake was dragging/sticking on now and then. So I gave Logitech a call and they sent me a brand new G25. Mine was 18 months old and your right, the warranty is for 2 years. but 1st year is normally covered by the retailer. 👍
 
In NA the warranty is only one year. Don't know what it would be in Oz.

There are many documented examples of the people having the problem you are experiencing, including myself. I managed to "fix" mine, & have been problem free for about 6 months now.

phughe03: I havn't done it yet, gonna try get my warranty b4 i attempt to open up. But from what I've googled, it seems to be a lose wire. Hyperspeed would have to confirm that.

No, I had no probs with the shifter, just the brake pedal issue.

No. I haven't had any problems with mine. I got it in Febuary. You just have to take care of it and not abuse it.

P.S. I'm not saying any of you abused yours or anything.
 
I planned on getting one, but it seems it's full of problems.

I paid $230 CDN for my G25 more than 2 years ago, & it's been a great purchase, even though I have had a couple of problems, I have put well over 1,000 hours on it. I would strongly recommend it.
 
i forgot the sst lightning costs soo much -_-. 200 bucks. but i guess if you can afford, it, its worth it. I'm happy w/ the porsche one. Good luck with fixing yours. Logitech gave me great tech support when my pedals broke for my Driving Force Pro, but that was years ago.
