Attempt to make GT5 look as realistic as possible.

I hope I succeeded with this. Youtube distorts the sound quality a little, especially in the 1st minute, but I did attempt to liven up the sounds and strengthened the background noises. I know it's a 16 minute video, but check out 2m30, 4m30s, 9m05s and 15m05s, and please tell me what you think and how it can be further improved. PD could achieve this look just by tweaking current parameters. Looks best in full screen at 720p (obviously). Thanks.

If anyone else has done something similar, or wants to, please share!

Excellent stuff .

Some skills you got there 👍.

are you basically filming with the bumper cam of another car? also did you add any artificial camera shake? it really adds to the realness, looks awesome!

Wow that is a great video, I don't remember GT5 sounding this good?! Is that the actual in-game sound?

The camera shake is created very simply by zooming in the camera view and facing it in a good direction, then I added a slight 'fisheye lens' to make GT5's image look less flat. I also changed specific colours, gamma, focus, saturation etc.

Thanks. Yes they are the in game sounds. I fiddled with the graphic equalizer, enhanced the background sounds to bring them inline with the sounds we normally hear in the game, used a compressor and then widened the stereo effect. It's a little distorted on Youtube compared to in my video editor though, I forgot about Youtube's degrading.

Thanks all.

More like achieved than attempted. I really like 9m05s, the Audi really looks nice.
