Attempts at night pictures? (photoshop)

i got bored so i decided to have a crack at setting the daylight tracks in an evening or night setting. well, 1 attempt :lol: i tried changing a 350Z at High speed ring into an evening race. heres my attempt



and the original



yes i am aware i messed up the tree's on the right when blurring the colours together. :ouch:

feel free to post your attempts (photoshop or not)
 
my advice would be not to use lens flare
the overal pic is good, but thats the 1 thing that annoys me

good attempt tho...

Great picture but those flares are deff. killing it, it makes the picture look waay to cartoony but hey if thats what your looking for then great job.
 
goddamn. what if i redid it but with a duller flare?? or just a small glow from the headlights?
 
Use something other then the lens flair to create the headlights. I will try to give an example if I have the time in the next day or so ... 👍

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, and most of all, I hate how I wish I had that kind of skill. Amazing job man, if I hadn't seen the original beside it, I would never have known it started life as a day shot. 👍

i borrowed VR6GTI72's picture (hope you dont mind, i was too lazy to get my own), so kudos to him/her for the pic
i added the lights and a HUD on the windscreen

Thanks for all the praise on my night shot. And to think, I only spent an hour on that one. I have had far less compliments on images I have worked on for three days! Hehehehe!
