Seems like there's still a lot of people who don't know how to download streaming media. Here's a cool little tool which seems to work quite well.

Allows you to save most streaming content.
 
This begs the question: Is it legal?

Also, another question begs to be asked: Why did you post that in this forum?

Still, it looks like a neat program.

Broadband users probably not an issue - but trying to watch streaming video over a 56ker is more like a slide show. This helps them to download the video in it's entirety and watch it in its full glory. Very usefull for videos such as the one in this thread....

Legal? Dunno. I don't see why it would be illegal, unless you download it and use it for your own personal gain - ie place it on your own website. But then again I'm not a lawyer.

Can someone download the whole thing and then put it on a server somewhere so everyone can download it?

I can't download this programme - keeps coming up with errors. :(
 
I don't see why it would be illegal - technically when you watch a streamed movie you download it to your local machine and play it, it's just you watch it as you're downloading, hence the whole 'Buffering' delay. You could, if you were really keen, go track down the file in whatever temporary folder is used for such things and then copy it out from there. A lot of times you can simply right click, go Properties and then get the physical download link to save streaming as well. This just takes the pain out of the whole operation.
