I saw this in the video store yesterday. All the others were great so im sure this will be too. ATV Off Road Fury 3
"In ATV Offroad Fury 3, players will have the ability to race in more than 30 unique environments with six distinct terrain types including snow, dirt, mud, ice, water and grass, as well as compete in eight exciting mini-games including king of the hill, treasure hunt, tag, hockey, soccer, basketball and pre-load – to play in all multi-player modes.

Supporting up to six players online with voice-chat capabilities via the USB Headset (for PlayStation 2), ATV Offroad Fury 3, includes a new comprehensive online scoreboard system that records event data for players and clans within all race types."

IGN review says that ATV 3 is better than the previous versions. I have ATV2, great game!

ATV 3 was produced by THQ, and we all know how their XBox Moto GP2 kicks the Namco´s Moto GP series ass, so the game must be good.

The problem is there are too many good games being released lately, and I don´t have the time nor the money to play them all. So I guess I´ll get my hands on ATV 3 only next year. :(

I agree ATV2 was excellent! I played many many hours of that game. Especially when I would link up with my friends and play all the other mini games like hockey with quads, tag and king of the hill. So much fun for a multiplayer game. 6 online now instead of 4. And now mud and custom quads.
"Featuring 24 highly detailed ATV's - New vehicle tuning system allowing players to change tire type and gear ratios. Up to 20 customizable component parts for both your bike and rider along with color designs and logos to place on panels and rider liveries - showing rider experience in events"

Too many quality games coming out. The timing wasn't right as the big boys ( MGS 3, GT 4) are all on the horizon. Might be worth renting though.

I rented ATV Offroad 3 on Tuesday and it's due back today. :( I like it but it doesn't have the amount of tuning I want yet...
Thats the most pathetic review I have ever heard. I am hopefully renting it tonight and ill give a review of it sometime after the weekend.

Ok, I only finished the ameteur supercross and then I just decided to screw around the rest of the time. Seems a lot like ATV 2 yet it's kinda hard to get used to certain things. Phyusics seem a little better. If you had a ATV2 save then you got the G-Ride at the very beginning. Made everything way too easy... I just think they could have more things like performance shocks, different engines, plastic (Body), chassis, Bars, and anything else you can do to them. Clutches, brakes, and much more. Bt I don't know...maybe I'm asking too much of the game. If you liked 1 and 2 then you'l like ATV Offroad Fury 3.

P.S. Was that a better review?

Yes that was a better review. I also played this over the weekend and like you said it is a lot like ATV2 but there are several custom options now. It is nice that you can paint your quad different colors and put emplems on multiple parts. You can also get other various parts to buy to improve the appearance and performance of the quad like exhaust, shocks and gears. Its a good game so far. The game intro was great! Nothing better than a little Slipknot to start a game off followed by lots of real life quad action. 👍
