i know this car is in the game and is such a classic by now and its really fun having it in the game so now to my question

1.has anyone driven it yet?

2.is the classic 5cyl engine sound there?? (grrrrrr)

3.is it just avalible in white?? (have only seen it in "garage" pics and no "in game shots"

4.could anyone if they got the car put up some pics on it?

5.it would be fun to hear it (sound samples) if possible tuned too! =)

6.any "normal" turbo car with stage 4 turbo kit Evo´s . Volvo T-5 sport . lotus carlton and son on (sound samples ) 👍 👍

------i know the game will be released in Europe in march the 9th but i just cant wait!! :odd:

It would be nice for someone to post a couple of shots of the Quattro. Only seen the same shots as SABB TURBO, ie the stock garage ones.

Used to own a 90 Quattro (the 4 door version - oddly enough, a white one!), same 2.2 5cyl 4wd setup, but no turbo. It was a really good car to drive, occasionally would get into a controlled drift braking into a big old roundabout on one of my routes into work!

Would also love to know how the Lotus Carlton handles in game. I almost bought a 'replica', based on a Vauxhal Carlton 3.0, repainted with correct bodykit and 'tweaked' a bit. Took it out for a test drive, and wasn't impressed. Sure, wasn't the Lotus version, but it was outta my price range at the time. What did I get instead? Rather bizarrely, in comparison, a Jag 5.3 V12 XJS in Jaguar Raging Green, with magnolia interior. Best drive to date! Pity it ain't in GT4, but, it wasn't really a race car, although Broadspeed did get it going on the track with 'some' success.

Cheers.

The Quattro is available in other colors, but I'm at work right now, so I dont exactly remember which colors. I know there's a red and a dark blue though, if that helps:)

I have a gold and a silver Quattro on my Japanese game. I have raced against a red one as well.

I wasn't that impressed with the Carlton. Last time I drove it I had done some Chassis straightening and I think that improved things a bit. At least you can get some reasonable weight reduction on it. A wing also helped (with the added downforce). Having said that I did get it up to a realistic top speed of about 175 Mph (281 km/h). It just felt a bit heavy to drive.

Many thanks to both... 👍

Good to know the Quattro is available with colour choice.

Shame about the Carlton though, top speed bang on, would have thought if anyone could have got the handling geometry correct it would have been Lotus...

Will stilll take the big old bus on though! :)

Having said that. I still like the Carlton. Just takes a little getting used to I suppose as it is quite heavy (1654 Kg)

Ouch! That's on the heavy side indeed, more so if that's it at it's minimum weight?

You can take over 200 Kg out of that with the weight reduction. I'll check exactly how much tonight.

Too bad they left out the RS2 Quattro Coupe. 1990 90 body in a coupe form (I own the americam version, same overall body, less power) with Porsche designed & assembled motor.
It's still nice to see the original coupe quattro in the game. I used to own a gray coupe (non turbo or quattro)

no it doesnt have the proper engine sound... kind of a dissapointment.. it is my first car bought and i was hoping for the real engine sound.

The Quattro comes in Silver, Gold, White, Red and two metallic Blues.

A fully weight reduced Lotus Carlton weighs in at 1373 Kg. The actual weight of the car is 1655 Kg.

You don't buy the Quattro, unless you misunderstood the question (or were answering one I missed :)) and you were talking about the Carlton.

Any images of that Audi?

Audi Quattro Turbo Coupe - known as a UrQuattro

Racing version that dominated Rally & other off road events (would have liked to see this car in GT4)
I think the first pic is a Pike's Peak car, the 2nd one is the Rally championship car (or a replica of)

The US market was shafted - We received the Audi Coupe - No Turbo, No Quattro, No Cool Fender Flares (I used to have an anneversary model, this is not mine):

1990 - Audi Coupe Quattro (I now have one of these in Pearl White)

And the Rally version:

The Audi that should really be in GT4 - The SCCA Trans-Am dominating car. Audi ran this car with AWD and a 5-cyl. Nobody thought they had a chance considering the rest of the field were running race prep-350's and tube frame race chassis. Audi used a production tub and a production based motor. In one race, the Audi ran faster in the rain than they did in the dry - it was eventually banned. How ironic Audi stuck to the original intent of Trans-Am racing (production based cars) dominates the series, then is kicked out. After SCCA the cars were used all over the world running other events, so there are many different pain schemes you will find in these cars. They only made a few of them, here are two of the factory cars:

The US marget got the Quattro- it had bigger bumpers and supports and was detuned to about 160hp.

A pal of mine has an '83 model- gold like the game. I can't wait to win it and send the photo-travel pics to him!

LOL ... sorry for misunderstanding ... I was hoping for some pics from GT4 ... of Audi quattro and others ..

I am well aware of images.google.com for those pics ... (heck I have A LOT of them on my PC, since I love Audis) ...

And to add a bit - on 2nd pic there is Group B Audi S1 (the beast, which has been listed in some car lists for GT4), and on third there is the original rally Audi Quattro, driven by Hannu Mikkola (after a closer look it looks like Revell model 1:24 (I have one of those too ;) ). There was one version between that original quattro and the S1 - it was Sport Quattro, basically same as quattro but with shhorter wheelbase (cut out part just behind driver's doors, so rear side windows were shorter). The original quattro, same as that model, can be seen in Audi Museum in Ingolstadt, it's the car of Michelle Mouton from San Remo.

So if you happen to be travelling in neighbourhood of Ingolstadt, go take a look. You won't regret it.

I asked a fellow member on here to take some pics of the quattro since I am a big fan and quattro daft! So the credit goes to timbrad.

Go here for the pics:

The RS2 only came in avant form.

that trans am audi is awsome the body kit on it looks great its a shame they couldnt get the rally car in the game considering they got the road version and loads of other games have it

The number 5 Audi Quattro E2 pic is not from the Pikes Peak is´t from the San Remo Rally 1985 and the car below that is a modellcar.

Ok, Ok, my Audi Race Car memory is a bit rusty. It's good to see other Audi fans on this site!

I know the one is a plastic model - for some odd reason I could not find any good shots of that particular car and I was too lazy to upload any I have.

I'll look and see if I can find a good shot of the pikes peak S4.

Heres a few of pics of one of the pikes peak S4's.
