Does anyone have, know of or is willing to make a tune for the Audi quattro? I'm completely underwhelmed by it :grumpy:

I will mostly be circuit driving. Please respond ASAP :)👍

Oh yeah, I need a 500PP limit :dunce: You could probably guess that from the title lol.

Did this for the GTP Hot Version Touge thread.

You'll most likely want to adjust the brake balance if you plan to drive it with ABS. Has 462PP as is and should be okay with a little more power, though I do recommend moving to a higher grade tire if you want to really run it at 500PP.
Very fun car to drive but will never keep up with more modern 450-500PP cars as the skinny old tires just don't offer the same level of grip.

Thank you :D:tup: This'll come in very handy.
Think I may have a couple other tunes for it tucked away in my garage, but they would be for older game versions and offline tuned so not sure how they would fair now in an online environment.

The Mad Fins have one too: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=6426238#post6426238

There's a Swiss guy I've bumped into a few times online, who runs a Quattro at 500PP. I've no idea what he's done to it, but it sticks with a lot of the high end 500PP cars, very impressive. I appreciate that doesn't help you, even slightly, but hey...

What grade tires he running? Think the older cars may get even more of a boost from better grades than the newer cars do which would help them close the gap a bit.

I'm limited to Sports Medium 👍

Just noticed something... I can't change the Rear Spring Rate for it...

EDIT:

Oh wait I can

Either Sport Soft or Racing Soft, can't remember. He was driving the door handles off it. I was keeping abreast with him in a TM Evo, only errors on his behalf kept him off the podium. It'll get torn apart by NSX's, CSL's and HSC's, but it still looks like a right hoot...

 I'm actually running it in the Global Rallycross series, so little chance of all them others.

Sport Medium tires should be a big improvement over the SH tires I tuned mine on. Is your series just on Tarmac or are you doing gravel/snow stages as well? Also what restrictions on car selection do you have? Thinking either the Ford RS200 or Pug 205 might be faster choices for early/mid 80s rally based 4wd cars. I love the Audi and it's a lot of fun but not the fastest in its class/era.
If you need help fine tuning the car for your needs let us know and we can help give you some suggestions to let it work with your driving style better. Later today I'll pull one of mine out and see about upgrading it to 500PP on SM tires...what track will you be running? Also are you using ABS or other driving aids?

@Cy on RS tires the Audi probably doesn't have enough power and speed to ever run out of grip so you can drive it like a psycho right to the very edge.:lol:

I went with the MadFinn tune, that suits my driving style best especially how it so easily switches from grip to oversteer.

Yes, there will be some snow & gravel races, I'm competing the Limited class. The championship page is here.
